In the first :20 seconds of this clip of the game show, The Weakest Link, you will hear Yvonne Monet answer the question: "What is the literal English translation of the festival called Mardi Gras?"
Classic answer and awesome hair too.
Get all the Mardi Gras action here with the official Mardi Gras page. You can almost smell the urine.
Please enjoy these photos of rock stars and their caaaaats!

In 1980, I was living in San Francisco and working at a Baskin Robbins. I was only 13 but lied about my age to get the job. We had a transistor radio on the shelf that we kept on one station all day. In between scooping out Pralines & Cream and making malts, we'd rock out to songs like "Hungry Heart" by Bruce Springsteen, "Crazy Little Thing Called Love" by Queen, Robbie Dupree's "Steal Away" and John Lennon's "Watching The Wheels".
To say that 2011 "started out with a bang" is not a metaphor. I literally banged my face on a concrete floor on New Year's Eve 2010 and rang in the 2011 in the emergency room at Piedmont Hospital. That pretty much set the stage for the New Year. Although there were plenty of face plants throughout the year, it's always better to look at the good stuff.
"Watch What Happens Live" goes 5 nights a week on Bravo beginning Sunday, January 8. He called in and admitted which housewife he would like to be, why he doesn't have a cat, and who his dream guest would be on his show. Bonus: picture of Ramona running around the station in a tennis outfit even though she didn't have a match that day.
If you watched tonight's episode of Kitchen Nightmares, filmed at Michon's in College Park, you caught a glimpse of our very own Yvonne Monet and FK. However, what you didn't see is the chicken wing eating contest that they, along with the lovely Sytonnia from V103, took part in. Celebrity Chef Gordon Ramsay had to disqualify one of those three for cheating and we have it on video.
The Père Lachaise Cemetery is one of most fascinating and beautiful sights in Paris. With over 110 acres of graves and tombs dating back to 1804, it is no surprise that it is the most visited cemetery in the world. Over 1,000,000 bodies are buried or entombed on the site. Some tombs have multiple occupants, with family members being added to accommodate limited space. Among other notables, it is also the final resting place of Jim Morrison. With one free day left after a gig in Paris, I decided to jump on The Metro and find his tombstone.
